Smoking has been used as a way to preserve food for hundreds of years, with the drying and smoking of fish and meats enabling different tastes to be shipped around the world, shaping the cuisines of today.  Smoked foods could last for months at sea while new frontiers and markets were explored.

These days smoking for preserving is no longer a way of life – but smoking  for flavour is! Anyone with a barbeque, gas element, hot box or set of old roasting tins can now enjoy the simplicity of smoking at home, and the taste and flavour that smoked foods bring to the table.

The Kiwi Sizzler Smoking Book is an essential guide for anyone who wants to discover the delicious flavours of smoked food and get the best out of their smoker.
